In recent years, Chrysal has used its knowledge of cut flower care to also develop a range of plant care products. In 1949, Ir. Camille Buys Chrysal introduced an innovative formula that doubles the vase life of cut flowers.
Pokon & Chrysal was headquartered in Naarden, the Netherlands, and was family-owned until 2007. The plant care division of Pokon was sold and the official name was changed to Chrysal International.
