The international freight market presents us with unprecedented challenges, especially this year.
A large proportion of our product range reaches us in container ships across the world’s oceans. Global events have led to massive increases in sea freight rates. The cost of importing a container is currently ten times the price of the previous year – unfortunately, there is no end in sight to this increase.
This means:
- we cannot maintain the current prices printed in our catalogs 100% as usual
- Unfortunately, we have to raise the price of many of our imported items retrospectively
However: Orders that you have already placed with us remain valid at the confirmed prices.
At the time of printing the catalogs, such a price increase in sea freight was unfortunately not yet foreseeable.
